Album Notes & Community Reviews

Finally achieving their massive international breakthrough, New Zealand's Split Enz shed their overly complex art-rock roots for sharp, synthesizer-driven pop hooks. Anchored by the enormous hit 'I Got You', 'True Colours' is a fiercely energetic, wonderfully quirky, and deeply melodic new wave classic that perfectly balances eccentric creativity with highly passionate, anthemic power pop.
