Album Notes & Community Reviews

Facing the departure of principal songwriter and frontman Neal Morse, the band bravely pushes forward with drummer Nick D'Virgilio assuming vocal duties. The resulting record relies less on sprawling, symphonic epics and more on concise, hard-edged alternative rock structures layered with vintage progressive keyboard flourishes. It stands as a pivotal statement of survival and reinvention for the veteran group.
