Album Notes & Community Reviews

Infamously associated with their brief, ill-fated stint on Elektra Records鈥攚ho dropped the band shortly after its release鈥攖his sophomore effort is a wiry, incredibly concise post-punk masterclass. The brief track runtimes and Britt Daniel's angular guitar work capture an urgent, anxious energy that heavily foreshadowed their eventual indie rock dominance.
