Album Notes & Community Reviews

Spyro Gyra refined their highly accessible, Latin-infused approach to jazz fusion on 'Carnaval', continuing their dominance of contemporary instrumental radio. The production is characterized by bright saxophone melodies, crisp rhythm sections, and slick studio polish. It represents the commercial zenith of smooth jazz entering the 1980s.
