Album Notes & Community Reviews
Annie Clark's debut as St. Vincent is a whimsical, slightly sinister introduction to her art-pop world. Blending cabaret theatricality with intricate guitar work, she creates songs that are both pretty and unsettling. It set the stage for her later, more aggressive work.
