Album Notes & Community Reviews

Demonstrating an idiosyncratic charm heavily reminiscent of the Beatles' late-period studio experiments, the British ensemble's second album is a whimsical masterclass in eccentric songcraft. Blending highly melodic, vaudevillian pop structures with intricate, pastoral progressive arrangements, the band carved out a uniquely theatrical and thoroughly English niche within the crowded 1970s prog landscape.
