Album Notes & Community Reviews
As the third studio effort from the American progressive rock ensemble, 'Citadel' continues Starcastle's tradition of lush, fantasy-driven musicianship. Produced by Roy Thomas Baker, the recording boasts dense vocal harmonies and sweeping symphonic synthesizer passages heavily indebted to British acts like Yes. The album balances epic, multi-part compositions with the emerging melodic accessibility of stadium rock.
