Album Notes & Community Reviews

Bolstered by the formal integration of co-vocalist Amy Millan, the Montreal group transitioned from their trip-hop-influenced debut into sophisticated, theatrical chamber pop. The intertwining male/female vocals vividly narrate stories of romantic turbulence against a backdrop of warm synthesizers and lush orchestral flourishes.
