Pivoting away from the bouncy groove metal of their debut, Wayne Static steered the band into much colder, heavily electronic territory. 'Machine' utilizes massive amounts of synthesizer sequencing, drum programming, and abrasive industrial noise to construct an aggressive, highly mechanical take on nu-metal.
