Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed by ex-Fairport Convention bassist Ashley Hutchings, the ensemble's debut is the only record to feature both Maddy Prior and Gay Woods on vocals simultaneously. Characterized by tightly woven harmonies and prominent electric bass, it firmly established a slightly more traditional, less rock-oriented counterpart to Fairport's electrified folk fusions.
