Album Notes & Community Reviews

Despite functioning entirely without a dedicated drummer at the time, the folk-rock outfit achieved their highest commercial charting to date with this remarkably heavy, rhythmic collection. The dramatic adaptations of historical Scottish ballads and layered, booming vocal harmonies successfully bridged the gap between traditional purists and the emerging rock audience.
