Album Notes & Community Reviews
Steely Dan's first studio album in twenty years, written and produced by Donald Fagen and Walter Becker with a rotating cast of elite session players, extends their jazz-inflected pop rock into sleek, harmonically dense territory. It won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, and its songs dissect American consumer life with the duo's customary cryptic wit.
