Album Notes & Community Reviews
Steppenwolf's comeback album, released after a three-year hiatus, sees John Kay reforming the band with a slightly retooled lineup and a polished, brass-inflected hard rock sound. Anchored by the hit single 'Straight Shootin' Woman', the record relies less on their 60s acid-rock roots and more on straightforward, driving blues-rock.
