Album Notes & Community Reviews

Making his debut on Matador Records, the former Kurt Vile backing guitarist delivers a stunning collection of highly intricate, road-trip-ready folk rock. The album seamlessly blends his virtuosic acoustic fingerpicking with sprawling, Grateful Dead-inspired electric guitar jams and reflective, travel-weary lyricism. It was highly acclaimed as a masterful, deeply melodic continuation of modern American guitar music.
