Album Notes & Community Reviews

Steve Hackett's 'Defector' continued his post-Genesis solo work with a blend of progressive rock, symphonic arrangements, and concise art-rock writing. The album preserves his guitar-centered identity while using a more compact early-1980s production approach than some of his earlier solo records.
