Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded while Genesis was regrouping after Peter Gabriel's departure, Steve Hackett's solo debut essentially functions as a magnificent lost Genesis album. 'Voyage of the Acolyte' is a beautifully pastoral, wonderfully epic symphonic prog journey inspired by tarot cards, showcasing remarkably technical, highly melodic guitar work within fiercely complex, shifting arrangements.
