Earthed

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally released as a musical accompaniment to a book of poetry, the frontman of The Church stepped out with a remarkably adventurous, largely instrumental solo debut. 'Earthed' explores lush, synthesized soundscapes and gentle neo-psychedelic textures, moving away from his band's signature guitar-driven approach. The atmospheric recording highlights Kilbey's profound talent for surreal, cinematic composition.
