Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded in New York, this exceptional acoustic quartet session highlights the pianist's intricate compositions alongside saxophonist Steve Slagle. 'Non-Fiction' bursts with a rhythmic, energetic drive that sets it slightly apart from the typically austere, spacious aesthetic of standard ECM releases.
