Album Notes & Community Reviews
Martin's second comedy album moves from an intimate club set at the Boarding House in San Francisco to a performance before a vast outdoor audience at Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver. Produced by William McEuen, it closes with 'King Tut', performed with members of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band credited as the Toot Uncommons, which reached number 17 as a single and sold over a million copies. The album peaked at number two on the Billboard albums chart, was certified double platinum, and won the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album before its later selection for the National Recording Registry.
