Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded with advanced digital technology, the veteran rock group fully embraces 1980s synth-pop and electronic drum programming on this experimental departure. 'Italian X Rays' intertwines melodic pop-rock structures with futuristic, synthesized instrumentals and conceptual interludes. The radical shift away from his blues-rock roots resulted in a commercial misfire, making it a strange outlier in his catalog.
