Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the dissolution of the Dixie Dregs, guitar virtuoso Steve Morse assembled a power trio to further explore complex, instrumental music. 'The Introduction' showcases his dazzling technique across shifting meters and styles, seamlessly blending country-inflected picking with high-octane jazz-rock improvisation. It firmly established his solo career and his reputation as a master of eclectic fretboard acrobatics.
