Album Notes & Community Reviews

An instrumental album by guitarist Steve Morse of the Dixie Dregs and Deep Purple, 'Major Impacts' is constructed as a set of original pieces each written in the manner of a guitarist who influenced him, among them Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck. Morse performs the full programme himself, making the record a documented map of his own formation as a player.
