Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during a temporary hiatus for Journey, frontman Steve Perry's debut solo venture leans heavily into smooth R&B and adult contemporary textures while maintaining his rock foundations. 'Street Talk' proved to be immensely successful, anchored by the iconic, nostalgic hit single "Oh Sherrie", and fully solidifying Perry's status as a premier vocalist of the 1980s.
