Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating heavily within the New York No Wave scene, the Lounge Lizards bassist delivered a stunningly unique, highly intellectual solo debut. The record is driven by incredibly sparse, repetitive basslines, primitive drum machines, and Piccolo's deadpan, spoken-word recitations exploring themes of urban alienation and domestic mundane reality. It is a masterful, deeply cynical piece of avant-garde minimalism.
