Album Notes & Community Reviews

Under the direction of Brad Lubman, the acclaimed contemporary classical group Ensemble Signal delivers a breathtaking, highly dynamic new recording of Steve Reich鈥檚 legendary minimalist masterpiece. The performance flawlessly captures the incredibly complex, mathematically precise interplay of marimbas, xylophones, and female voices. It is a profoundly hypnotic, remarkably lush, and intensely repetitive auditory experience that honors the original composition's sheer scale.
