Album Notes & Community Reviews
Demonstrating the composer's enduring fascination with shifting phase patterns and intricate percussion, this recording pairs two major minimalist chamber works. The interlocking marimbas and precise keyboard phasing create an overwhelmingly hypnotic, highly complex acoustic environment that remains a cornerstone of American contemporary classical music.
