Album Notes & Community Reviews
Stepping away from the colossal weight of his primary band Neurosis, the vocalist and guitarist delivers a profound exploration of melancholic, acoustic music. 'A Life Unto Itself' weaves archaic Celtic folk traditions and gothic country elements into a deeply atmospheric, sombre tapestry. Recorded with vintage equipment, the album鈥檚 sparse instrumentation and grave baritone vocals evoke isolated forests and ancient, natural mysteries.
