Serving as the direct follow-up to his commercial comeback 'Arc of a Diver', this release sees the veteran multi-instrumentalist continuing to embrace modern synthesizer technology. Operating largely as a one-man studio project, Winwood handled all instrumentation and production duties to craft an impeccably slick atmosphere. Though slightly darker in tone than its predecessor, it reinforced his seamless integration into the 1980s pop mainstream.
