Album Notes & Community Reviews

Concluding his highly commercial 1980s period, Wonder extensively utilizes the synclavier and digital drum machines to construct tight, synthesizer-driven R&B arrangements. The record balances its mechanical funk aesthetics with his enduringly warm, uplifting melodicism and prominent guest appearances, including a notable duet with Michael Jackson.
