Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stevie Wonder's first holiday album blends traditional carols with poignant original material, most notably its pacifist title track. Released during the height of the Vietnam War, the record balances Motown's upbeat pop-soul production with earnest pleas for global harmony and social justice. It remains one of the era's most enduring and socially conscious holiday releases.
