Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in a Malibu mansion amidst Scott Weiland's ongoing struggles with addiction, the band's fifth album is a vibrant, melodic fusion of hard rock and 1960s pop sensibilities. 'Shangri-La Dee Da' incorporates lush harmonies and neo-psychedelic textures, representing a creative high point despite the internal turmoil that would soon lead to their dissolution.
