Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stray Cats' debut introduced the Long Island trio's rockabilly revival style to a British audience before their wider American breakthrough. Brian Setzer's guitar vocabulary, upright bass slap, and retro visual presentation helped bring 1950s rock-and-roll idioms into early-1980s new wave culture.
