Album Notes & Community Reviews
Led by the brilliant violinist Krzesimir D臋bski, this Polish quintet delivered an incredibly sophisticated and energetic fusion statement. 'Workoholic' masterfully blends tight, funk-inflected grooves with virtuosic jazz improvisation, propelled heavily by Janusz Skowron's nimble synthesizer work. The recording remains a major high-water mark for the vibrant, world-class jazz-rock scene thriving in 1980s Poland.
