Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stryper's landmark album 'To Hell with the Devil' merges glam metal's aesthetic of soaring vocal harmonies, melodic guitar solos, and anthemic choruses with explicitly Christian lyrical themes. The polished, radio-ready production by the band and Stephan Galfas yielded major MTV hits like "Calling on You" and the Billboard Hot 100 power ballad "Honestly," propelling the record to become the first Christian metal album to achieve platinum certification.
