From the Cradle to the Grave

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Anchored by its monolithic, sixteen-minute title track, this ambitious release pushes anarcho-punk past its rudimentary three-chord limitations into complex, suite-like structures. Dick Lucas delivers vitriolic, sharply articulated lyrics critiquing capitalist conformity and social conditioning from birth to death. The record remains a high-water mark for musical progression within the strict ideological confines of the 80s UK punk scene.
