Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Herzblut' pairs the Potsdam band's heavy guitar foundation with bagpipes, hurdy-gurdy, shawm and the violin of Frau Schmitt, the medieval instrumentarium that defined their sound. Fronted by singer Eric Fish with lyrics by Bodenski, the album carries 'Kleid aus Rosen', the rose ballad that became one of the group's signature songs.
