Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Hochzeit', whose title is the German word for a wedding, is the fifth studio album by the Potsdam band, consolidating the medieval folk metal formula of bagpipes, shawm and hurdy-gurdy over heavy guitars. Singer Eric Fish and lyricist Bodenski again shape the material, with violinist Frau Schmitt supplying the folk counterpoint to the metal attack.
