Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Los Angeles-based violinist and vocalist brilliantly integrates her mastery of Northeast African fiddle traditions into sleek, modern electronic production. Her debut full-length balances intricate, plucked string arrangements with heavy R&B basslines and intensely personal songwriting, establishing a highly unique, genre-defying approach to contemporary soul.
