Concluding an acclaimed trilogy of albums marking their impressive late-career comeback, the Britpop veterans deliver an incredibly dark, highly theatrical rock record. Co-produced with Alan Moulder, the album heavily embraces massive orchestral arrangements, spoken-word interludes, and sweeping, cinematic drama that leans deeply into gothic rock aesthetics. It was heavily celebrated as their most ambitious and emotionally heavy release since their 1990s peak.
