Album Notes & Community Reviews

Aaron Turner (Isis) continues his exploration of deeply challenging, avant-garde extreme metal alongside Brian Cook (Neurosis) and Nick Yacyshyn (Baptists). The record utilizes massive, tectonic sludge metal riffs that dissolve frequently into lengthy periods of abstract, terrifying free improvisation. It is a grueling, uncompromising meditation on physical anxiety and the search for profound human connection.
