Album Notes & Community Reviews
The legendary Austrian atmospheric black metal duo returns with another sprawling, synthesizer-heavy epic dedicated to J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth mythology. The heavily orchestrated record maintains their signature trudging, marching tempos and deeply majestic, medieval fantasy atmosphere. While remarkably consistent with their classic catalog, it offers a deeply satisfying, profoundly melancholic journey for longtime purists of the genre.
