Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded in 1966 but unreleased until 1974, this rare, unaccompanied solo piano session showcases the cosmic philosopher stripped of his massive Arkestra. Sun Ra navigates the piano with profound harmonic complexity, moving effortlessly between aggressive avant-garde dissonance and moments of stunning, traditional lyricism.
