Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded during an extensive tour of upstate New York colleges in 1966, this album is a crucial document of the Arkestra's most aggressively experimental period. The dense, heavily polyrhythmic percussion and violently chaotic horn improvisations are punctuated by surreal, chanted philosophical mantras.
