Album Notes & Community Reviews
Captured in 1973 but released in 1975, 'Pathways to Unknown Worlds' finds Sun Ra pushing his Moog synthesizer to its absolute limits. The entirely instrumental record abandons standard rhythm and melody for chaotic, noisy free jazz improvisation, generating a profoundly dark and ominous atmosphere.
