Album Notes & Community Reviews
A radical departure even by his own standards, 'Space Probe' finds Sun Ra heavily utilizing the Minimoog synthesizer for a side-long, abrasive solo electronic improvisation. Originally recorded in 1969 but released in 1974 on his independent Saturn label, it is a fascinating, uncompromising document of his early electronic experiments.
