Album Notes & Community Reviews
Sun Ra and his Arkestra seamlessly merge deep cosmic philosophy with remarkably infectious grooves on this brilliant 1980 outing. 'Strange Celestial Road' intertwines incredibly tight, rhythmic jazz-funk and fusion elements with sprawling avant-garde improvisations, creating a deeply spiritual, highly psychedelic, and futuristic space-age journey.
