Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiling recordings from the late 1960s through the early 1970s, this release on Sun Ra's own Saturn imprint balances abstract avant-garde explorations with surprisingly accessible, swinging post-bop. The album showcases the Arkestra's remarkable versatility, moving seamlessly from chaotic free jazz to mellow, atmospheric grooves.
