Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Diary' is the definitive cornerstone of the Midwest emo movement, merging the muscularity of Seattle grunge with deeply introspective and melancholic lyricism. The album is incredibly passionate and anxious, pairing Jeremy Enigk's soaring vocals with melodic, bittersweet guitar work that defined the genre's second wave.
