Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released shortly after the band's initial breakup and colloquially known as "The Pink Album", this self-titled record is a highly emotional Midwest emo landmark. Sunny Day Real Estate delivers incredibly passionate, cryptic lyricism over complex math-rock rhythms and anxious, deeply melancholic post-hardcore melodies.
