Album Notes & Community Reviews
Captured during the influential drummer's European exile, this Paris session documents the unmetered percussive style that revolutionized avant-garde rhythm sections. Supported by expatriate heavyweights like Archie Shepp and Grachan Moncur III, the deeply emotive record stands as a fiery tribute to pan-African consciousness.
